The Walt Collection marries timeless porcelain with earthy, monochromatic hues, creating a refined yet serene tableware set. A collaboration between Cartier Studios and Labode, it invites you to slow down, savor the moments that matter, and bring a touch of elegance to even the simplest of rituals.

Leslie and Colette Cartier are the mother-daughter duo behind the handmade ceramics at Cartier Studios. They work together in their home studio to create beautiful, functional, handmade pottery that aims to bring an element of art and design to everyday life. Leslie has a degree in interior design from the University of Manitoba and practiced as a designer in Calgary for 25 years. In addition to ceramics, Leslie is a painter and printmaker. Colette earned a design degree from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and started her own practice with Cartier Studios, sharing her time between ceramics and freelance graphic design.

Notes: Embracing the handmade nature, each will slightly vary in size, shape and colour. Designed to be layered and loved, our dishware finishes are all about versatility — whether you’re pairing similar finishes or mixing up textures and tones, every combination feels like it was meant to be.
